Deutz D80 Four Wheel Drive V1 mod for FS17.
Hello Community, it's that time again!
Another Restored 6-cylinder iron is a pig of bygone days before the workshop.A Deutz D80 All-Wheel Drive Built In 1965!!
But it's not any of the D80,but the last D80 in January 1965 by the Band of delivery before the series was seamlessly incorporated into the 05 series.but at this time, our object of desire equipped with all-wheel drive, but more on that later :)
Jez first of all, what about the tractor .....
The D 80 was as a six cylinder only for large farms and drove meant to be an entrepreneur, what can be seen in the small number of only 64 built models. He was the first six-cylinder tractors from German production. There are two peculiarities by which one can recognize the D-80, which are the two divided exhaust manifold and the split hood. In an almost unchanged Form of the D-80 was included in the 05-series and D 8005.Was driven from the tractor by an air-cooled four-stroke in-line six-cylinder diesel engine, type KHD F6L 812 with 5.104 cm3 and 75 HP.
And what we have jez back to tinkering?!......why the all-wheel drive???
So we have found the remains of a Rusty D80 had suffered a shaft breaks.
In the search for a new front axle, we came across a Güldner all-wheel drive front axle with all mounting parts and know that it's been a long night but it paid off :)
